The Camel City Crusher 12-Hour Team Challenge
Own the Night. Crush the Course. Sleep is for the Weak.
Light up the Fairgrounds and take on the inaugural Camel City Crusher—an all-night, 12-hour endurance relay built for speed, grit, and smart teamwork. From sunset to sunrise (8:00 PM–8:00 AM), teams will chase laps on a fast, flat half-mile crit course under the lights. Go all-in to set a record, or roll deep with friends for an unforgettable overnight party on wheels.
However you ride it, this is the race everyone will be talking about.

12 hours. Friday 8:00 PM – Saturday 8:00 AM

Only one rider from your team is allowed on the course at a time.

The Fairgrounds Crit Course (0.5-mile loop)
🏁 The Goal
The team with the highest total lap count at 8:00 AM wins the title.

How you ride is up to you.
Do you swap riders every 3 laps for maximum speed? Or do you pull 2-hour endurance shifts so your teammates can nap? Choose wisely.
FEES

Team Entry: $1,000 flat fee
Up to 10 Riders (That’s just $100/rider for a full squad!)

Pit Row Real Estate: A designated 10x10 space along the course to set up your team HQ/Tent.
Swag: Official Camel City Crusher Event T-Shirts for all rostered riders.
Pro Timing: RFID Chip timing to track every single lap and split live.
The Experience: 12 hours of racing, music, and the legendary Midnight Handup hour.
EVENT features
🏕️ Pit Row & Tent City
Every team gets a dedicated spot on "Pit Row." Bring your 10x10 pop-up, your trainers, your coolers, and your lounge chairs. This is your transition zone where riders swap timing chips and recharge. Decorating your pit area is highly encouraged.
🥓 Midnight Hand-ups
At the stroke of midnight, the race gets a little... weird. We will be offering "special feeds" in the feed zone. Think donuts, bacon, and other high-calorie surprises to keep morale high and the bonk at bay.
🏆 Awards
The Crusher Cup: Awarded to the team with the Most Total Laps.
Fastest Lap: The single fastest half-mile loop recorded during the night.
Best Pit Vibe: Awarded to the team with the best tent setup/spirit.
Individual Award: Most laps by an individual (must sign up for challenge as an individual)

FAQs & Fine print
Lights: While the fairgrounds provide ambient light, front and rear lights are mandatory for all riders on the course for safety.
Bikes: Road bikes, gravel bikes, and mountain bikes are allowed. No TT bars or e-bikes.
Weather: The Crusher goes on rain or shine.
Substitutions: You may swap riders as often as you like, but exchanges must happen in the designated "Transition Zone" at your pit.
ABOUT 0530 CYCLING
0530 Cycling exists to transform lives by building connection and community through the sport of cycling.
In reality, 0530 is just a mish mash of misfits from every corner of the cycling community, somehow blended together to make life more interesting for each other, on the bike and off the bike. In 2020, a few of the 0530 members challenged each other to see how many laps of The Standard loop they could do without stopping, and Camel City Crusher was born. The event has helped raise more than $30,000 to help Velocious Sports team build up the next generation of cyclists.
